ALberta, Canada KING BUCK

by Shadi
(Canada)

Alberta Buck

Alberta Buck

This Buck had a wonderful story attached with him because it was my biggest buck to date. My father was pushing the valley and thickets and we saw him from 600 yards with about 14 does. As soon as he got our SCENT HE MARCHED ON WITH THOSE DOES. He didn't give me a good shot soIi saidIi was going to come back tomorrow in the evening. The following evening as my dad was pushing the bush I heard him fire a shot and quickly scanned the horizon to see if anything was coming, but there was nothing. I looked behind me and there were rock pits with valleys so I went over the first one and there was nothing, then I heard him grunting. I went over the last one and he jumped out and didn't see me, he ran about 400 yards looked back at me and I sent him to his maker. I dropped him in his tracks literally in his tracks using my Browning A-bolt chambered in 7mm rem mag equipped with a BOSS system. I was pretty happy shooting a monster, only being 19 years old.
