April 30 Whitetail Photos

A little over a week since our last set of pictures and the bucks antlers are starting to show some signs of life. They all look promising at this time of the year so we can dream big.

We've had a lot of rain and things are greening up nicely which translates into a lot of good food for the deer. The rain has made food plot work next to impossible, but let's look at the glass as half full.

I thought we had some really nice buck pictures this week so we didn't use a turkey picture. I apologize to the turkey hunters out there, but a decent buck picture always takes the prize with me.

It's amazing to think that the last buck to drop its antlers was only one month ago and we now have antlers reaching a couple of inches, growing deer antlers are definitely a natural miracle.

This week we moved three of our cameras to food plots. It will be interesting to see what we can see next time.

Once again, We didn't get any fox, coyote or bobcat pictures this week so check back next time.

This weeks pictures were taken with our Treebark Cameras 4.1, Trail Watcher 2060, EagleEye and Trail Watcher 4220.

It's interesting to see how little hair is on the back of a deer's ear at this time of the year. Treebark Cameras 4.1
