Coyote Pictures II
The summer of 2008 has brought an increase in coyote pictures, especially over the last few weeks. We have added this page in an effort to keep our picture pages loading efficiently.Due to the roaming nature of coyotes we never know when we will get coyote pictures and we sometimes go quite a few weeks before we get pictures, so stay tuned each week to see if we keep catching coyotes with our digital trail cameras.
This is our lone coyote picture this week. We caught this one walking through a food plot that is a tight corner.
After getting several coyote pictures last week we only got one picture this week.
I set this camera up to get pictures of a buck at a scrape but ended up getting one of my best coyote pictures to date.
These two pictures were taken at an apple tree that is only about one hundred yards from the house. This is also where I took the first shot at the coyote that I shot.
These two pictures were only taken about 50 yards apart but were taken a day apart.
This isn't the best picture we have gotten of coyotes but the story is interesting. I was riding our four wheeler just past this location when a coyote played cat and mouse with me. It got within 10 yards of me before trotting off into the woods. I was surprised it wasn't much more skittish.
The following twelve pictures are all from the last week in August 2008. These coyote pictures were taken in three different locations that are within a few hundred yards of each other. We had a total of seventeen coyote pictures in this week and these are the best of those.
