December 8th Whitetail Deer PhotographsWe're now well past buck season and we're watching to see what, if any, bucks show back up at our cameras. I don't think we captured any more new bucks this week nor did we get any of our regulars from the fall back. The wide racked eight point buck looks like the best buck we have left and the small nine point should be a nice buck next year but we're still a little disapointed that more of the bigger bucks didn't survive. Last year a nine point showed up late in the year so maybe we'll still pick up a nice buck on our cameras before they start shedding their antlers. This had better happen soon since we've found shed antlers by late December in the past. The wounded eight point we got pictures of is probably the most exciting thing we have to report this week. This young eight point still looks healthy so we think he'll be fine. We'll try to keep watching this buck to see how he does. These pictures were taken with our , Trail Watcher 2060, Woodland SpyCam and a Penn's Woods Digital Scout.
Our small nine point has become a regular but he is showing up at the other feeder. I have to wonder if the wide eight point chased him away from the other one. 
Once again a wounded buck has shown up after the season. This one still looks pretty healthy.

Enough of our larger bucks have been shot that we're back to showing you spike bucks. We recognized this one from earlier in the season.
