February 21 Whitetail Photos
Our first set of pictures in 2011 and they are from February 21. It's been another tough winter so our cameras were out for about seven weeks. Thankfully one camera was still taking pictures through February 14, but the rest of our cameras gave up much earlier. The camera that was still taking pictures on the 14th took pictures of three different bucks that still had their antlers. We were only able to find one shed antler on our visit, a spike less than two inches long. This may be one of our most prized shed antler finds, after all, how many times could you find an antler that small. We also got some pictures of bucks that had shed their antlers, but not a lot. It will be interesting to see what our next set of pictures show us and we'll be looking hard for sheds. Once again we have pictures of several bucks, which is a good sign for next year. We're anxious to see how big they can grow. The pictures show that the bucks are in good condition. We didn't get any fox, coyote, bear or bobcat pictures this week so check back next time. This weeks pictures were taken with our Bigfoot SLE, Trail Watcher 4220, EagleEye and StalkerCam.
