February 25th Deer PhotosIt looks like our last antlered buck has either finally shed his antlers or he has wandered off again. I'm going to say that he has shed his antlers. This leaves us without any antlered buck pictures, but I think we still got some interesting pictures. We put out some sweet feed in a trough under the deer condo and hoped that the rain wouldn't turn it to mush. Well, the deer didn't let it sit around long, cleaning it up in less than two days. I wondered how long it would take them to come under the condo and eat and the pictures show that it only took a couple of hours. The same feeder fell over again this time, but we're pretty sure it was due to the high winds we had on the 11th. I've decided its smart to let at least one tripod leg sink into the mud a little to help hold the tripod upright in high winds. I'm getting tired of setting the tripods back up.
