July 1 Whitetail Photos

June has ended and it looks like our bucks still have some growing to do. They still look like they are behind their growth from last year, but they don't look like they are done. We still have high hopes for some of these bucks.

The raccoons have created havoc at one of our feeders so we did some work this week to try to deter them. It seems that we always run into problems with them at this time of the year. They do a good job of chewing up plastic and bungee cords so we've switched to almost all metal at that feeder to keep them from stealing corn. Once they empty the feeders our deer pictures slow down even at the nearby mineral lick.

The one eye buck still looks like he's going to be real wide, another nice buck showed up in another food plot and a third decent buck showed up at another mineral lick.

We did get one coyote picture, but it was too far away in the picture. We had to zoom in a lot to see that it was a coyote so we're not going to post that one. We didn't catch any bobcats or black bear either.

This weeks pictures were taken with our Penns Woods DS-07, Camtrakker Digital Ranger, StalkerCam, Treebark Cameras 4.1 and Trail Watcher 4220.
