July 10th Whitetail Deer Photographs

We had eleven digital game cameras out again this time and we are starting to get some interesting pictures of bucks.

We don't think we got a picture of the buck with the sticker point again this time but we do think we got a few pictures of a buck that was a high narrow nine point last year. We also got pictures of two different eight point bucks and a six point.

We are still getting pictures of spotted fawns but we didn't include any of them in this set of pictures. The bucks are getting interesting enough that it's hard to get the fawns to make the cut.

We're still putting our cameras at our food plots and are getting good information about what the deer are eating. We're going to continue to monitor the food plots right into bow season and use the information that we learn to locate our stands.

These pictures were taken with our Woodland SpyCam, Penn’s Woods Digital Scout and a Homemade WhitetailCam.

8 point buck

This is the buck with a split in its left ear that we got pictures of earlier. He looks like a nice wide eight point at this point on July 7th.

Running spike buck

Here is a spike running past the camera. I would like to have known what he was running from.

8 point whitetail buck

Here is another eight point buck that looks pretty nice.

6 point buck

A young six point buck that needs more time to grow up.

8 point buck in velvet

This is the buck that we think was the high narrow nine point last year. It will be interesting to see if he grows more points. Take a look at the deep blue evening sky.

Eight point buck

This is the same buck that is in the first picture four days earlier and at least a quarter of a mile away.
