July 14 Whitetail Photos
It's been two weeks since our last set of pictures and trouble with cameras, feeders and a buck found dead of unknown causes are the headlines.I forgot to set the day and date on one camera so it didn't take any pictures for two weeks and the Python cable slipped down in front of the camera lens on another the first day it was out which ruined all of the pictures. A weak battery left one feeder full which cuts down on the pictures at that feeder. It's a shame it wasn't the feeder where the Python cable got in the way. The dead buck is the biggest mystery. We got a picture of the buck on July 12 and Ryan found the buck dead on July 14. There wasn't any evident cause of death that we could see. The bucks antlers are showing some promising signs and hopefully they'll continue to add size over the next couple of weeks. We moved one feeder back in the area where we got pictures of a big nine point last year so we hope to see him again soon. We didn't get any bobcat or coyote pictures this time so check back next time. This weeks pictures were taken with our Treebark Cameras 4.1, Camtrakker and StalkerCam.
