Leaf River DC-6SS Picture Quality

Due to problems with this camera I only have 41 pictures of outside wildlife to use for this review with none of these pictures taken at night. This lack of night time pictures made it impossible to evaluate the flash capabilities.

The camera started putting a blurred line across the pictures and I also got two pictures that were completely purple but I’m not sure why. There was obviously something wrong and I’m not sure if the blurring and the purple pictures could have been related.

There is also a slight bluish quality to the pictures much like some of the other game cameras available.

I didn’t get many dawn and dusk photos but I think the flash doesn’t start working as early in the evening and stay working as late into the morning as it could. It would light up the deer much better.

Unfortunately the blurred line and other operational problems forced me to return this camera so the number of pictures I had to do this review is quite small as compared to most. From the few pictures I have and discounting the blurred line the pictures are not that bad and are similar to the pictures taken by the Cuddeback 3.0.

With the lack of night time pictures and the relatively few pictures taken it was difficult to grade the picture quality but we feel that the B- is probably a fair grade as compared to what we’ve seen from other cameras.

Here are three pictures that we got with the Leaf River DC-6SS. The last one has the blurred line across the picture but we don't want to highlight that. We hope that ours was the only camera that this will happen to. We had to show one of these pictures so that we could show a picture at a different time of the day.
