March 11th Deer PicturesWe still captured pictures of our lone remaining antlered buck, but it looks like these will be the last. We got pictures of the nine point buck on the evening of March 8th and then got pictures later in the evening of March 8th of a buck with bloody holes on his head later that night. We then did not get any more pictures of the nine point buck over the next three days, so we're pretty sure that he has shed his antlers. We had set up a trail camera at a place where we had seen coyote tracks in the snow a couple of times near a known rabbit hideout. Unfortunately we didn't get any coyote pictures, but we did get six deer pictures and one picture of the rabbit. Maybe the coyotes have given up on this rabbit. We didn't find any shed antlers this week, but after seeing that the nine point has shed his I think we'll have to do a little more looking around. Now that the bucks no longer have their antlers we'll be looking for other interesting pictures and we'll soon be monitoring our food plots again as well. These pictures were taken with our Camtrakker Digital Ranger, Trail Watcher 2035 and EagleEye.
