Monster Buck November 23, 2008,just as I was gettig ready to leave I caught movement to my left,this was not the direction I thought they'd come from. It was a doe, not what I wanted, but after a million squirrels and a dog walking around I'd be happy with her. While trying to see if she was big enough to shoot she looked behind her then bounced off a couple feet, I knew what that meant, so I looked back to my left and there he was. Perfect 40 yard shot with my dad's 223! No blood trail but he only ran 75 yards. Biggest deer I ever shot! 20inch spread and 12 scorable points. He had 1 broke off drop tine. |
