May 29 Whitetail Photos
It's been only a few days since our last set of pictures and we got some good ones. The bucks are starting to show good antler growth. We can now see some brow tines and their main beams are growing.Earlier it had looked like the bucks were behind last years antler growth, but it now looks like we've caught up as I compare them to last years pictures from May 29. We've spread our cameras out through our food plots, mineral licks and feeders and we're getting plenty of pictures. The rainfall we've received this spring has provided a lot of green for the deer and our clover plots are thriving. We should be able to continue capturing good pictures in our plots. I'm looking forward to seeing the antler growth throughout June. I think we should have a real good idea how big our bucks are going to be by the end of this month. Our last set of pictures hit the jackpot on coyotes and bobcats. We didn't do quite as well this week, but we did get one real good coyote picture so make sure you check out the 2011 coyote pictures page. This weeks pictures were taken with our Penns Woods DS-07, Trail Watcher 2060, Woodland SpyCam and Trail Watcher 4220.
This is the buck with one bad eye. You can see that he is developing a sticker on his right antler. Penns Woods DS-07
Another buck that has split off its brow tines. Penns Woods DS-07
This may be the same buck as the first picture, but I can't tell from this angle. Woodland SpyCam
