Spring is upon us and the woods have greened up. We are now waiting on the first fawns and are their antlers start to grow. This group finally showed some pictures of bucks with their antlers starting upward. Hopefully we'll soon be able to identify some of them.
You can see the velvet antlers just starting to show on this bucks head.
This is a picture of two deer and a moth. This is the first time I can remember getting a picture of a moth and we actually got three pictures with moths or some other small bug this time.
I don't think we completely understand all of the ways that deer communicate. I don't know why one of these deer has it's ears back.

It's amazing how dark their antlers are when they first start to grow.
