November 11th Whitetail Deer Photos
This past week was a tough week for the batteries in our cameras. Three of our cameras had battery difficulties so we got far fewer pictures than we usually get in a week. The first full week is usually a big week for buck movement so we may have missed some great activity but we'll never know for sure. On the bright side we still got several great pictures and have included seven of them below. We captured photos of one new buck. He is a non-typical eight point buck that looks real interesting. Once again the ten point buck we had been watching did not show up, but we did get pictures of the rest of the regulars. We're hoping the ten point will show up again soon. I got a glimpse of the wide nine point buck on Monday morning. He smelled so strong that I could still smell him several minutes after he had went through the area. We noticed that his back legs were black in the pictures we captured of him this week, he's in full rut mode. The scrape still seems to be a hot location so we staked it out again along with another scrape not too far away. We'll see how long they continue to visit these scrapes. These pictures were taken with our Trail Watcher 2035, EagleEye, Camtrakker Digital Ranger and Trail Watcher 2060.
The tall racked seven point buck. We're impressed by the size of this deer's neck.
The wider racked seven point buck.
Here is the buck we call the shed antler buck at the scrape.
The wide nine point working the same scrape.
Here is the closest buck we have to a typical eight point buck.
This non-tpical eight point buck is our new buck for the week. I'd like to see what he would look like in another year.
The sticker point buck along with a young buck we saw
