November 12th Whitetail Deer Pictures

This album of Whitetail Deer Pictures contains digital scouting camera pictures taken the week before November 12, 2005.

The rut is in and gave us a completely different set of pictures from what we were used to seeing over the previous weeks. We saw a couple of bucks that we have never seen before and didn't get a single picture of one of our regulars. Three of the other regulars only showed up one time.

It also made for an interesting two days of hunting when most of the deer that we saw showing little interest in eating.

This week we recieved 916 total pictures from four cameras. These cameras were the Woodland SpyCam, Penn's Woods Digital Scout, EagleEye Digital Trail Camera and our new Stealth Cam.

eight point whitetail buck

This camera was in one of our food plots that borders a hayfield. This eight point buck looks like a nice young deer.

Whitetail doe eating leaves

This deer stayed long enough to get two pictures taken while having a snack. I wonder if it ate the stem with the leaves.

Seven point buck

This seven point buck showed up 19 minutes after my son and I left our treestand in this area. He is one of our regulars that was a little scarce over the week.

Eight point whitetail buck

Here is a small eight point buck that we hadn't seen before and we only caught him once this week.

Eight point whitetail buck

I think this is one of our wayward bucks that used to be a regular but had come up missing over the last month or so. He's a pretty nice looking eight point.

Nine point whitetail buck

The nine point only showed up once on our cameras. Ryan and I did finally see him deep in a hollow with three other bucks.

Blue jay caught in flight

This is one of two pictures we had this time of a Blue Jay in flight. These are pretty neat.
