November 5th Whitetail Deer PicturesThis album of Whitetail Deer Pictures contains digital scouting camera pictures taken the week before November 5, 2005. We only caught 236 pictures in this one week period. This is about half of what we had been getting the last few weeks. Why this happened I'm not sure but deer sightings were sparse while we were hunting as well. When the rut comes in crazy things start to happen and this year shouldn't be any different. I only saw three deer while on stand Saturday but I was fortunate enough to shoot a doe with my bow. You can read more about our Saturday in the November 5th Journal. 
This eight point buck has now become unpredictable. He was a regular at the other feeder but now it's hard to tell where he'll show up. 
One of my favorite pictures last year was of this very same buck with a branch stuck in his antlers and here he is again this year with another branch in his antlers. 
Here is the same buck later that day without his antler decorations. 
This seven point buck is a real nice looking buck, but one more year should add a lot more size. 
I'd been wanting to get a picture of this little spike on these pages but they are so small that they are hard to see. We finally got him up close.
