October 16th Whitetail Deer Photos
This was a big week for a trail camera we set up at a scrape. We saw several different bucks at this scrape including a buck that we had been looking for all summer and fall. The buck whose shed antler we found in our hayfield last winter showed up at this scrape.Of course I kept a trail camera at this scrape and placed one at another scrape that is near one of our feeders and a food plot. It will be interesting to see if bucks continue to visit these scrapes. History has shown us that at a certain point the bucks will stop visiting the scrapes as often so we know this will dry up. We got a couple of pictures of an eight point buck that we can't recall seeing before, but we only got two pictures of him and they're not quite good enough to include on this page. The bucks have started to travel a bit more now. The nine point with sticker points and the wide nine point both showed up at both ends of our property. The next few weeks should be real interesting. These pictures were taken with our Trail Watcher 2035, EagleEye, homemade WhitetailCam P41 and Camtrakker Digital Ranger.
The ten point buck only showed up a couple of times and they were both in this food plot on one end of our property.
The wide seven point buck at the mineral lick along the edge of a sorghum food plot. The deer cleaned this food plot up in only a couple of days.
Here is the wide nine point buck at a scrape.
We have this bucks right side shed from last year. He has been a tough one to get a picture of.
The tall racked seven point buck at the same scrape.
This nine point buck was well traveled this week.
