October 17th Deer Photos

Saturday was the opening day of bow season and another successful opening day for Ryan. The wide ten point that we have shown you a lot of pictures of the past few months is now headed for his bedroom wall. This will be the last week we'll see pictures of this buck on this page so enjoy them.

The other ten point didn't show up again this week. Now that the other ten is gone we'll be looking hard for the other one.

There are still a lot of bucks left and we'll be watching for them. It is also getting to be the time of year when we should start seeing other bucks wandering around. Hopefully we'll have cameras in the right place to catch these bucks.

We got one bobcat picture but it wasn't good enough to make the page, but we'll keep watching.

This weeks pictures were taken with our Bigfoot SLE, StalkerCam, Trail Watcher 2060 and Camtrakker Digital Ranger.

Whitetail buck at a scrape
Here is the nine point buck at a scrape. Bigfoot SLE

Nine point buck
Here is the same buck reaching high for the licking branch. This licking branch is a briar, which I thought was comical. Bigfoot SLE

Eight point buck
This is the tall racked eight point buck. It looks like he has a wound under his right eye. I wonder which buck was responsible for that. Trail Watcher 2060

Two whitetail bucks
This is the same eight point with a small spike buck checking him out. The small spike has become my buddy, visiting me when I show up to check the cameras. Camtrakker

Ten Point Buck
A nice picture of the wide ten point buck. StalkerCam

Sticker point buck
Another one of our eight point bucks. StalkerCam

Wide racked ten point buck
How can I not add another picture of our best buck. I can tell you now that his antler spread is just over 17 inches and his tines are eight inches long. StalkerCam

Buck with a bent antler tine
The bent antler buck. StalkerCam
