September 22nd Deer Pictures

This was our best buck sighting week so far this year. We got the first pictures of a new ten point buck and a buck from last year that we haven't seen since deer season.

It looks like most, if not all of the bucks have shed their velvet so we finally know exactly what we have. Their antlers always lose a little size once the velvet is shed but a couple of them still look pretty nice.

The bucks aren't spending as much time hanging around the feeders and mineral licks as they were in the summer. This along with spotting two additional bucks tells us that they have started to move around a little more.

I found two buck rubs, one at the edge of one of our food plots and one on an apple tree. I also found what may be the start of a couple of scrapes. I've posted cameras on the two possible scrapes to see what happens.

We got three coyote pictures, but none of them were good enough to make the coyote picture page. Maybe next week.

These pictures were taken with our Wildview Xtreme 5, Camtrakker Digital Ranger, Trail Stalker, and StalkerCam.

Nine point buck
The nine point buck. He's not showing up nearly as much as he did over the summer. Trail Stalker

Seven point buck
We haven't seen or photographed this buck since the first Friday of the first week of rifle season last year. He looks like he has a strange looking set of antlers. Trail Stalker

Two whitetail bucks
Two of our nice looking eight point bucks checking each other out. StalkerCam

Odd eight point buck
This buck has an abnormal right beam and a sticker point. He's an interesting looking buck. StalkerCam

Wide eight point buck
Here is the nice young eight point buck. Camtrakker

Sticker point buck
The sticker point buck looks real wide in this picture. He kept a lot of his character after shedding his velvet. Camtrakker

Ten point buck
Here is a ten point buck that we saw for the first time this week. I hope he continues to visit this apple tree. Wildview Xtreme 5
