September 4 Whitetail PhotosAnother two weeks have past since our last visit. We got one picture of a buck that had shed its velvet and I expect that we will see even more on our next visit. The interesting thing was that the buck with shed velvet is a bit of a mystery to us, but he looked like a decent buck. The rest of our bucks showed up and we got some real good pictures. The buck that we saw as a seven point earlier showed up a lot and he is a bona fide seven point, missing his left G-3. There is plenty of room on the main beam for the point, but it's just no there. We're still looking for one of our bigger bucks from last year. Each week we hope he shows up in our pictures. We didn't get any bobcat or black bear pictures this time, but we did get four coyote pictures. Check out the coyote pictures page to see three of them.
