Wildview Xtreme II Picture Quality

We gave the Wildview Xtreme II a C for picture quality. Since it is a 2.0 megapixel unit it cannot match the picture quality of the 3.0 or higher digital scouting cameras. On the other hand the picture quality is better than the original Wildview digital.

Overall the color is generally good but lacks the correct tones and sharpness especially when you try to blow the pictures up to see more detail. When you blow them up they get pretty grainy. Many of the pictures also have a slight blue/green tint to them.

The flash was not enough to illuminate deer at much of a distance, but again was better than the original Wildview.

The deer on the far side of the feeder isn't lit up well, typical of the flash at this distance.

These pictures are good examples of the picture quality.

In general the Wildview Xtreme II picture quality was a little better than the lower mega pixel cameras.
